　　 On December 26, 2014, the Guiyang-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Guizhou's first high speed rail line, officially opened, marking the province's entry into the high speed rail era. Over the past ten years, the high speed rail has brought significant changes to Guizhou, transforming it from a remote mountainous area into a major transportation hub. On January 5, 2025, the railway will increase its speed, with trains changing from D-series to G-series, shortening the travel time by about one and a half hours. CR-Chengdu will deploy 16 high speed trains with speeds exceeding 300 km/h on this route.
